Now is a GREAT time to pull the trigger on a new snowboard and/or outerwear. It just so happens this new snow on the way coincides with fresh markdowns on tons of 2012 gear!
With the exception of Lib Tech and Gnu boards, ALL other snowboards are 20% off!!! This includes Burton, Jones, Arbor, K2, DC, and Atomic. Been thinking about a split board? YES! How about a new freestyle park board? YES! Or maybe a new pow board from Jones? YES, YES! At 20% off, those thoughts seem less sinful
In addition to boards, we have our high-end boots (over $250) at 20% off (from Burton, Nike, DC and Salomon), and bindings from Union, Flow and Flux at 20% off. BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! All 2012 outerwear (A.K., Bonfire, Nike, Rip Curl, Analog) is at least 20% off! And all 686 (including their kickass “Smarty” pants) are a full 30% off! Are we crazy – winter is just getting started!
You can view our specific product offerings at our online store, but please note that we cannot show these sale prices online yet. If you cannot make it into the store, just give us a call (503-246-6646) and we’ll take your order (at the sale price) over the phone.
In the Kite Dept, we already have a number of 2012 kites in stock! The LF Envy, Cabrinha Drifter and Switchblade, and the Slingshot Rally to name a few. Boards are starting to trickle in too. We know a lot of you are traveling to warmers waters this winter. We’ve got “golf” bags, boardshorts, shorties, sandals, etc, to help get you on your way.
In SUP, we’ve received some new boards from Jimmy Styx: an 8’0 Jimmy Jr, a 10’0 Surf SUP and a 11’4 Surge – something for everyone in the family! All great boards at extremely reasonable prices.
Another new addition in our SUP lineup is the Starboard 14′ Coast Runner. This is a great all-around board with an affinity for blazing downwind runs in the Gorge or open ocean. It retails for $1,795, but you can pick one up now at a cool “pre-season” price of $1,499.95.
Lastly, are you looking for a fun SUP outing this winter? Consider joining the Willamette Riverkeeper‘s first outing of 2012 on Saturday, Jan. 21st at the beautiful Scappoose Bay. Breaking from the mainstem Willamette a few miles before the confluence with the Columbia, Multnomah Channel eventually spills into the low, tidal estuary of Scappoose Bay. Adjacent to Sauvie Island National Wildlife Area, the bay teems with wildlife. Here juvenile salmonids seek refuge from strong river currents before migrating to the ocean, and bald eagles, herons, and tundra swans grace the skies. Sounds like a nice way to spend the afternoon!
