The Mana is the blade of choice for the racer looking for the ultimate in power and efficiency. The Mana 82 lends itself to a faster cadence whereas the Mana 90 is a step between a high cadence & "power" paddle. The blade contours of the Mana are more pronounced than the Konihi with increased scoop in the tip and deeper concaves to provide more power from a smaller blade size. The winglets used on this blade help create a more efficient stroke with improved blade stability and increased drive.
All Ke Nalu paddles are custom in terms of shaft and handle configurations. In this instance we've paired the Mana 82 with the 100 Flex shaft and the Ergo T handle. The 100 Flex Carbon shaft is Ke Nalu's lightest and stiffest shaft. It tapers from 1" at the handle end to 1.25" at the blade end. The first 6 inches of the handle end are not tapered to permit shortening the shaft without changing diameter.
If this configuration doesn't meet your needs, no worries! Just call us and let us know your shaft and handle preference and we'll cut and assemble the perfect Ke Nalu paddle for you!
