The August First Thursday is going to be a special one! "Some Like It Classic" was shot in 16mm film over 7 years and is narrated by Robert "Wingnut" Weaver.

Yes, we offer surfboard ding repair here at Gorge. Pricing starts at $50, and the ETA is 2-3 weeks.... sometimes longer during peak season. You may drop off your board anytime during open hours. Boards are repaired in the order they are received.
We strive to ship in-stock items the same day if placed before 11:00am, or the very next day if after 11:00. Your credit card is charged only when the item ships, not when the order is placed. You will receive an email with tracking info once your item ships. Additional shipping information here
Most items are returnable. Exceptions include surfboards, SUPs, Onewheels, eFoils, foil assists, and USED gear, among other things.
If your item is returnable, we offer REFUNDS within 14 days from the date you received the item, and we honor EXCHANGES up to 30 days from the date you received the item. More information can be found here

Located in the John's Landing neighborhood in Portland, Oregon, just 4 miles south of downtown and by Willamette Park. We're at the hub of all that the PNW has to offer: 90 miles from the coast, 70 miles from the mountain, and 50 miles from the Columbia River Gorge, to name a few.
We consign used surfboards and paddleboards for a mere $20 intake fee and 10% of the sales price. Having the best seller's deal around, our consignment inventory is top notch and always changing. Take a look at what's currently on our consignment surfboard rack.
While we do not buy used gear, we have an excellent consignment surf program. This is a fantastic way to sell your used surfboard. Additional information can be found here.
We rent everything you need for surfing the Oregon coast: Surfboards, wetsuits, booties and soft racks for your vehicle if needed.
Our rentals are first-come-first served, no reservation needed. We are closed on Sundays so our Saturday to Monday One Day rental for $50 is the best deal around, by far.

One of the few shops left with an extensive SUP collection. If you are a standup paddler - this board shop is a pitstop you should not miss. Not only do they have a fantastic collection - they also have boards for all different types of riding. Whether you are a newbie, intermediate, or advanced rider - there is something for you here.

Had a great experience renting a surfboard from Gorge. I have passed this place for years commuting to work and this was the first time I ever rented anything from them. The staff was very friendly. Kim and Bob helped me get set up with the rental and securing the board on my truck. Talk about personal service. I like patronizing small/local businesses like Gorge because of their great service. Gorge Performance is a honey hole of stoke. It's exactly how I want my surf shops - appropriately packed with boards of all kinds (surf, skate, snow, kite, foil, SUP), loaded with gear/clothing/stuff related to the aforementioned boards, and a helpful staff that can answer every one of your questions.
Didn’t even know about this place till a friend said they carried Onewheel. Basically went in tested out their demo Onewheel and fell in love with it. Emily and Bob was amazing to deal with. Emily answered all my questions and help me with my purchase. Customer service is def 100. The whole staff is friendly and helpful:)
