Surfboard Bags
So you just invested in a new surfboard or you’re about to go on an epic surf trip, and your board needs a little protection — look no further than a padded board bag. Whether you’re carrying a fleet of shortboards to Shorties or hitting Mexico with your ten-foot log, you can find a variety of board bags on our shelves. We carry day bags, air travel bags, and board socks here at Gorge. Day bags are ideal for car transportation, especially if you’re throwing your board on top. They’re lightweight, waterproof, and usually feature reflective material to keep your board cooler on hot days. Dakine makes an ideal day bag, the Daylight Surfboard Bag, which comes in thruster, hybrid, and longboard options. Travel bags have thicker padding and come in single-board or double-board options. The Pro-Lite Rhino Shortboard Bag is a solid option for bringing 1-2 boards on a plane. Socks offer the least amount of padding, although they keep your board clean and are the most affordable option. All three provide protection to your board, and if you need a hand finding the right size bag, our staff is always happy to help.
