Solid Pescador 7'6
A close derivative of our best selling mid-length the Diamong Jig – taken to the fish level. We kept the same great elements of gradual smooth rocker, slight vee out the tail (added a touch of a spine through the fin section of this board) and the classic retro swallow tail offers new pivot points as compared to the Diamond Jig feel. Slightly wider tail also offers a straighter rail line and more surface area for increased down the line speed on a little more lack luster waves. Thinner and low 50/50 rails engage easily with the face offering a nice crisp hold when you want it and a bit of belly through the middle offer ease of transitions through the midsection of this board offering a diverse ride & feel in a unique and sexy shape. Fishes & Grovelers
In smaller wave conditions, who says size matters? While some surfers reach for their longboards, others paddle out on a stubby fish or groveler. Both fishes and grovelers pack high volume, low rocker, and wide tail shape into a shortboard, making either shape ideal for less-than-ideal, low power conditions. A fish surfboard, such as the Murdey Fish, is well-recognized for its classic fish tail shape and fat twin-fin setup, although these days fishes may feature quad-fin setups, like the Solid Quad Fish. While the fishy tails on groveler surfboards are typically less dramatic than that of the fish, you’ll find more variety in tail shapes and widths — such as the squashtail CI Happy Everyday — as well as fin setups. (Did somebody say 5-fin?) Here at the shop, you’re sure to find a quality performance fish or groveler suitable for your skill level.
