Longboards

A longboard, traditionally known as a "log", can turn a tiny-wave summer day into a magical surf sesh. Many a longboard remind us of vintage postcards featuring a sun-kissed surfer hanging ten, and surfers today still chase that classic, cruisy shape of a log, especially if they're looking to nose ride. Traditional longboards, like the Bing Continental, are over 9' long with a fat single fin in the back. More modern longboards have evolved into lighter weight, high-performance designs. The Stewart Redline, for example, features a 2+1 fin setup, slimmer rails, and rocker in the nose and tail, all of which allows for shortboard-like carving while maintaining the paddlebility of a high-volume surfboard. Another favorite is the Takayama In the Pink, a stable and durable Tuflite longboard ideal for beginners and experts alike. If you're curious about which length and volume will suit your skill level, stop by the shop or give us a call for the lowdown. You'll be hangin' loose in no time.
